Yes. Kitava's own site states it never uses seed oils, cooking instead with olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, and avocado oil. Park Street Tavern in Alameda states its menu is 100% seed oil-free. True Food Kitchen (Palo Alto) is 100% seed-oil-free chain-wide, and Lotus Cuisine of India (San Rafael) has cooked seed-oil-free since 1998, using ghee, avocado oil, and coconut oil. Camino Alto names its complete cooking-fat list (olive oil, tallow, ghee, coconut oil, butter) on its own site. 4505 Burgers & BBQ confirms tallow-fried fries, and Three Stone Hearth in Berkeley uses traditional fats per its own stated philosophy. Sweetgreen, Cava, and Buffalo Wild Wings confirm olive oil and avocado oil for specific items at their Bay Area locations.
